What Is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is an alternative medical treatment, that can work independently or in conjunction with more traditional forms of treatment. Naturopathy is focused on finding the underlying cause of the illness or health concern, not just treating the symptoms. We work on diet modifications, herbal medicine and nutritional medicine.

What Qualifications Does Kate Hold?

Kate holds a four year Degree of Bachelor of Health Science with majors in Naturopathy and Nutrition. She is also a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) who are one of Australia’s largest professional associations with registration requirements for practitioners of natural therapies. ATNA ensures quality assurance and public safety by ensuring practitioners maintain the most pertinent qualifications and uphold the highest ethical standards.

How Many Consultations Are Required?

This is dependant on your specific health needs and will be discussed in your first consult with Kate. Generally, however, you will require at least four follow up consults and they will initially be scheduled every four weeks. As your health begins to improve, these will be booked further apart until you eventually do not require any consultations.
